Ron Sarabi: Professional Affiliations

Through his unrelenting efforts, Ron Sarabi has helped grow the casino from a trailer with merely five gaming tables to a mega-club that houses 180 tables (as of 2006). Hawaiian Gardens is currently dominating the card club revenues of Los Angeles.
Aside from managing the ever-growing casino business, Ron Sarabi is also actively engaged in local professional associations, upon which he actively lobbied for fair litigation, reasonable laws, and responsible practices associated with California card clubs.
He formerly served as president of the Board of Directors of the Golden State Gaming Association, taking a major role in the litigation and legislation of card games in California. He still serves as member of the board at present.
Golden State Gaming Association is a professional association based in Sacramento, California with reported 2007 revenue of $182,300 and assets of $10,608. Golden State Gaming Association represents around 80% of the card clubs throughout the state as of 2006.
In addition, Ron Sarabi co-founded the Southern California Casino Association and he still serves as a member of its board of directors. The association advocates responsible gaming among people and it has been involved in initiatives dedicated to educate people regarding gambling problems. In 2006, the Southern California Association funded and launched a training program designed to help educate employees regarding gambling problems, providing employees and customers with relevant resources.
Ron Sarabi also co-founded the Advisory Committee of the Joint Powers of Authority.
