I was shopping online - as I so often do & when I got to the check out I saw the familiar “discount code” text box. I know this is no rare site and usually I ignore it assuming it is simply for existing customers or maybe even staff as part of their staff discount plan. However I had a bit of time on my hands today and decided to do a bit of digging.

I put discount code into a search engine and couldn’t believe it when it returned over ten thousand results. Apparently this little text box isn’t as worthless as I first thought.

According to the reviews and write up’s I read it is a way or saving money online! I went back and had a look for a code for the shop I was using. Now I always do my shopping online and feel I am getting a real bargain by doing so. Now this website told me to enter a code into this box. After I clicked submit I looked and realized that I had immediacy saved 15% off my total order. All of this for a few minutes of my time to find the code I needed. I honestly couldn’t believe it, I saved over £30! Now I’ll never shop online again without looking for a discount code first!
